Interaktive Bildverarbeitung mit dem IITB-Bildlaborsystem.

The development of image processing and recognition procedures requires a powerful, versatile, and interactive image processing system. With regard to these demands the IITB Versatile Image Processing System V.I.P. has been built up. After a brief presentation of the hardware and software configuration two exemplary applications are described: real-time contrast enhancement by greyscale-modification and restoration of defocused images.
