DESIRe Installation of Version 1.3

This documents describes the installation of the renderer DESIRe in version 1.3. The currently supported platforms are listed and installation procedures are introduced as step-by-step procedures. The basic installation describes how to install DESIRe for the first time on any of the supported platforms. The remote installation describes how to install DESIRe on further platforma in a network using parts of a given basic installation. For all the supported platforms, the related flags and files are listed and explained (if not default). If required, alterations of the installation procedures are given, if the version control system SCCS and the related software database are used. For the installation on unsupported platforms, possible changes and their implications on the installion are listed. This paper is written in english language.
