Realization of Chirped Volume Bragg Gratings in Fused Silica by Femtosecond Phase Mask Inscription

Abstract
We demonstrate the first cVBG in fused silica written with ultrashort laser pulses. First steps towards scaling their size to enable applications such as compact, robust and reliable CPA laser systems are shown.
