The use of experiences and know-how in the early phases of complex product-development processes is a crucial success factor for enterprises. Therefore, there is a need for a structured and transparent visualisation of processes. Additional methods for the use of knowledge in the innovative unstructured phases of the product development process is often missing. In this paper an approach is presented, combining a method for modelling and visualisation of a complex process network together with knowledge maps which are linked to process tasks.
