Title

Adapted transfer function design for coronary artery evaluation

Abstract
We present an approach for adapted transfer function (TF)specication to highlight pathologic changes of the coronary artery vesselwall based on contrast medium-enhanced computed tomography (CT)datasets. The TFs are combined with common visualization techniquesfor the evaluation of coronary arteries in CT image data. The presentedmapping of CT values in Hounseld Units (HU) to optical propertiessuch as color and opacity leads to a dierent color coding for dierentplaque types.
