Autostereoscopic back-projection and flat screens

Investigations begun in 1983 into so-called parallax panorama stereograms led to further developments and public presentations, culminating in back-projection on lens raster screens in connection with video and overhead projectors. A lens raster has also been developed for a large electroluminescent flat panel display. This contribution describes the requirements, principles and quantitative investigations.
