Micro-assembly processes for beam transformation systems of high power laser diode bars
Abstract
Reliable microassembling processes are indispensable to realize micro optical beam transformation systems for high power laser diode (HPDL) bars and the efficient coupling of the beam into optical fibers. For this purpose a modular assembling system has been set up that allows adjustment of micro optical components like various types of lenses with high power laser diodes in six axes with an accuracy in the submicron range for the three spatial axes as well as<0.4 mu rad for the three rotational axes.
