Rights Clearinghouse für den Softwarehandel

Ziel der Diplomarbeit war die Entwicklung eines Rights Clearing-houses für das FILIGRANE-System. FILIGRANE (FlexIbLe IPR for Software AGent ReliANcE) ist ein Copyright-managementsystem für elektronischen Code, das eine sichere Webarchitektur und einen Sicherheitsrahmen sowie Protokolle für das Handeln mit elektronischem Code im Internet gewährleistet. Das FILIGRANE Rights Clearinghouse hat als eine zentrale Instanz die Aufgabe, die Lizensierung einer Software eines Softwareherstellers an einen Provider und die Weiterlizensierung einer Software von einem Provider zu einem anderen Provider oder Endbenutzer zu überwachen, so daß keine widerrechtlichen Lizenzvereinbarungen getroffen werden. Weiterhin können, Softwarehersteller und Provider über das Rights Clearinghouse Zugang zu inhaltlich und strukturell aufbereiteten Informationen erhalten, die ihre abgeschlossenen Verträge und Verkaufszahlen betreffen.

The goal of this diploma thesis was the development of a Rights Clearing-houses for the FILIGRANE-System. FILIGRANE (FlexIbLe IPR for Software AGent ReliANcE) is a framework, which realises a Web-architecture as well as protocols for secure exchange of the mobile code in Internet. FILIGRANE Rights Clearinghouse acts as a central Authority, that controls licensing of a software manufacturer to a Provider and the further licensing of the software to another Provider or end users, so that no illegal license-agreements could met. Further the FILIGRANE Rights learinghouse, realises a Monitoring Web Interface for the sales based on the concluded contracts. Software-manufacturers and Providers can access over the Rights Clearinghouse their content and structurally prepared information, about the contracts and sales.
