Parallelisierbarkeit als Trumpf. ANSI-C für Transputer unter OS-9

Abstract
For using Transputer programs in an OS-9 VMEbus based Transputer system it is necessary to adapt a server program (the iserver) to the host operation system. The iserver allows also development and debugging of ANSI-C programs directly on the Transputers. However, the speed of the compiler is disappointing because downloading via iserver takes a long time. But if there is an additional data connection between the VMEbus system and a SUN workstation or an IBM compatible PC, compiling can be accelerated by using the cross compiler.
