Absorption and refractive index of PbSe/PbEuSe multiquantum well laser structures

The frequency dependence of the absorption constant alpha(omega) and of the refractive index n(omega) was studied experimentally and theoretically in the frequency range of interband transitions between quasi-two dimensional states of multiquantum well structures at an operating temperature of 100 K.
