Notes on radiation impedance

Definitions of the radiation impedance are given and compared to those in literature. Methods are derived for the computation of the radiation impedance for circular, elliptic, rectangular piston radiators. Circular radiators on spheres and radiating strips on cylinders are treated. The vibrating mass of those rediators is termined and the end corrections are presented. A procedure is described for the end correction of radiators which cannot be treated by analysis.
