Simulation des Flachbackenkeilquerwalzens

Abstract
Presented is a Finite-Element-Simulation of an partial forming process. The simulation was carried out with the FE-Code LS-DYNA3D. Due to the process the modell had to be a three-dimensional one. It needed to be developed a modell which lead to reasonable CPU-times. Experimental data about the temperature behaviour and the possibilities of the software concerning temperature dependent material description lead to the simulation of an isotherm process at 800 deg C. To be able to estimate the quality of the numerical results experimental data were used for comparison.
