Oxygen sensor for gas mixtures with combustible components

The paper is presenting a new design for a potentiometric oxygen sensor with a sensory element based on a thin electrolyte substrate that is placed within a tubular screen printed heater. For the development of electrode materials catalytic measurements were conducted. Equilibrium and mixed potential electrodes were developed and sensor signals were measured with inert gas as well as with gas mixtures containing combustible components.
