Structural investigation of corroded potassium-lime-silicate glasses (glas sensor material)

Potassium-lime-silicate glasses are used as glass-sensor material. Experiments described here had a dual purpose: To learn more about the corrosion mechanisms and the structure of gel-layers of these glasses and to test different analytical tools for measuring the corrosion quantitatively.
