Eine Studie zu innovativen Produkt-Dienstleistungskombinationen
Abstract
Ein rohstoffarmes Land wie die Bundesrepublik Deutschland mit hohen Arbeitskosten und Produktionsstandards sowie einer leistungsfähigen und dadurch teuren Infrastruktur kann Wettbewerbsvorteile nur erreichen, wenn es permanent Innovationen hervorbringt.

German companies can improve their growth via innovative products potentials and thereby their international compitiveness by investing intensively into research and development. This interrelation is empirically proven. However, for some markets restriction to advanced product technology is no longer sufficient. Complete problem solutions in the form of innovative combinations of product and product accompanying services (product service systems) are demanded. On the base of a survey of 1450 companies of the German manufacturing industry this article tries to examine which growth potentials this kind of strategy actually holds. Finally, a toolbox helping companies to plan and realise such business models more professionally is described.
