Ein Catena-X Use-Case Kollaborative Materialflusssimulationen zur Steuerung der Verknüpfung von Supply Chain und Shopfloor

Abstract
Global supply chains can only be operated efficiently if the entire chain reacts flexibly to disruptions, which requires a shared realistic understanding of the current state of the supply chain. The research activity "Online Control and Simulation" in the German funding project Catena-X achieves this understanding through distributed, collaborative material flow simulation of production and logistics. For this purpose, a management application was designed and prototypically implemented with which participating companies can exchange simulation results and initiate their own simulations based on up-to-date information.
