Selection, introduction and usage of a project management system within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft

The tasks of specialists in applied research and development and the project-oriented work within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (FhG) are described. This leads to requirements for a FhGspecific project management system PMS. To achieve this PMS decisions on make or buy had to be made: PMS is based on the ARTEMIS product with FhG-specific functionsbeing added to it. Experiences from the pilot phase of PMS, support questions and some requests for enhancements are described.
