Title
CAMoS - Code Generation for Automotive Real-Time Applications based on model driven Simulation
Title Supplement
Presentation held at embedded world conference 2009, Nürnberg
Abstract
Shrinking development cycles for new functions are forcing software engineers to rely more and more on model-based software tools. This is evident in the automobile industry as well. To meet the various demands of development processes such as device simulation, prototyping and production code generation, stand-alone tools that permit model-based software development have become well established. This variety of disparate tools has transformed automotive software development into a discontinuous process. To address this issue, researchers at the Fraunhofer ESK created CAMoS. This framework, which is based on the standard software development tool Telelogic Rhapsody, offers automobile manufacturers an end-to-end toolchain that covers the entire process from design to production code generation.
