Maitrise totale de la qualite. Verfahrensplan zur Förderung ganzheitlicher Qualitätsbeherrschung in einem französischen Automobilzuliefererunternehmen

The quality management system (QM-system) of a medium sized French automotive component manufacturer was investigated in 1991 from teh manufacturing point of view in accordance with the DIN ISO 9002 and 9004 standards. During the corporate strategy "Maitrise totale de la qualite" (comprehensive command of quality) new solutions have been developed with the help of a systematic comparison of quality objectives and associated measures in support of quality. This article presents the "Plan annuel d'ameliorations de la qualite" PAAQ (annual process plan for objective support of quality) which has contributed to the steady improvement of quality within the company since 1989.
