In both cases, mobile devices such as Smart Glasses offer great potential for increasing the quality and productivity of manual processes in production. Remote support for quick troubleshooting and operator assistance to secure manual workflows or for training purposes are the most prominent applications for Smart Glasses and will be discussed in more detail later in this article.
