Recent developments of lasers for materials processing

This paper gives an overview on actual activities at the ILT concerning the development of laser systems for industrial applications, including new aproaches for diffusion-cooled CO2-lasers in the kw-range, axial-flow CO2-lasers above 10 kw with rf excitation as well as high-power Nd-YAG and diode lasers.
