Industrielle Nutzung von Kohlendioxid

Im Jahr 2006 betrug der CO2-Ausstoß in Deutschland rund 880 Millionen Tonnen. Demgegenüber wurden circa 750 000 Tonnen Kohlendioxid für die industrielle Nutzung verkauft - Tendenz steigend. In der Öffentlichkeit hat Kohlendioxid nach wie vor als Treibhausgas einen schlechten Ruf. Das farblose, geruchs- und geschmacksneutrale sowie nicht brennbare Gas wird jedoch in den unterschiedlichsten industriellen Bereichen und im Haushalt umweltneutral eingesetzt.

In public, carbon dioxide continues to have a poor reputation as a greenhouse gas. However, the colorless, odor- and tasteless as well as non-combustible gas is widely used in various industries and in households.
