Title

All-Dielectric Artificial Magnetic Conductor at Millimeter-Wave Frequencies

Abstract
An all-dielectric Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) structure operating at the centre frequency of 77 GHz is proposed as an alternative to metallic-based AMCs. The AMC structure consists of an array of interconnected cylinders. Unit cell simulation results are presented, as well as a validation of the reflection properties with a Hertzian Dipole (HD) placed on top of a 10-unit cells AMC. A comparison is made with an HD alone and with an HD on top of a Perfect Magnetic Conductor (PMC).
