Digital Planning of Battery Cell Factories

In this chapter, digital planning of battery cell manufacturing is discussed. Therefore, factory planning frameworks and participants are described. Furthermore, general interaction challenges in factory planning and challenges specific to battery cell manufacturing are presented. Digital tools to counteract those challenges are introduced. The challenges arising when using those tools are outlined and solution approaches are given and evaluated.
