Abstract
Both neutral (A0) and ionized (A minus) manganese acceptor states in p-GaAs:Mn were analysed by optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) via ESR-induced changes in the magnetic circular dichroism (MCD). The photo-ionization and photo-neutralization part in the total MCD spectrum could be separated by ESR-tagged MCD absorption. The total angular momenta of the neutral (J=1) and ionized (S=5/2) manganes acceptor ground state were also determined by MCD-ODMR.
