Abstract
The presentation begins with an introduction to the REWARDS project and the stochastic energy system modelling framework EMPRISE. Afterwards, it presents a case study which illustrates the implementation of different power plant availabilities and meteorological years in the scenario tree, highlighting impacts on energy security in the European energy system. Finally, an outlook on future model developments regarding the implementation of further shock events is given.
