Title

Ultrawideband Vector Modulators for Next-Gen Wireless Networks in the 200-480 GHz Range

Abstract
In the search for enhanced data transmission capabilities, the evolution of wireless communication networks is rapidly advancing towards the sixth generation, with a particular focus on the sub-terahertz frequency domain. This paper introduces two state-of-the-art ultrawideband vector modulators operating within the 200 GHz to 480 GHz frequency range, intended for future integration within a phased array antenna system. The included measurements demonstrate the capability of up to 6-bit phase shifting and achieve a moderate insertion loss of 16 dB.
