Ein Gesamtkonzept zur Realisierung verlustloser Handover mit DVB-H

This paper provides a description of DVB-H video broadcast reception on small battery-powered mobile telephones or PDAs, based on the IP "datacast standard" (ETSI-DVB). It refers to DVB-H multimedia services and to time-slicing techniques, and to reduction of data losses during handover, by using signal synchronisation between neighbouring cells. The paper explains diversity reception with packet switching, and presents simulation results relating to packet losses.
