Zur zerstoerungsfreien Pruefung von Loet- und Diffusionsschweissverbindungen

With the increasing demand for quality at the production of brazed, adhesively bonded and diffusion welded parts it becomes more and more important to develop NDT-methods for the quality control. In this paper ultrasonic testing methods are discussed and first investigations are represented. For the standard methods pulse-echo and through-transmission, the applicability of these methods is studied in dependency of the combination of materials. The investigations show, that the pulse-echo and through-transmission testing give good results for similar combination of materials but for different combination of materials these methods are only limited applicable.
