Titel

Cost-benefit analysis for BTO planning and execution processes

Abstract
This paper outlines a proposal for a cost-benefit analysis for new planning and execution processes to support built-to-order in the automotive industry. The paper outlines the scope of benefits and costs to implement new processes designed to support build to order in 5 days through the identification of cost-benefit categories. Preliminary cost-benefit results are presented based on business partner estimations. The results are discussed with reference to scenarios developed to enable build to order.
