Screen printed Sol-Gel electronics based on carbon materials
The fabrication of different processed carbon based silica composites as coatings on glass substrates were investigated. This composites with enhanced electrical properties and good adhesion were produced with the sol-gel technique and deposited as films by the screen printing method followed by a pressureless sintering process. As produced coatings show different properties concerning conductivity and mechanical stability depending on the assembling of the composite. Composites based on the penetration of the sol-gel system show a trend setting behaviour for electrical application of SiO2/CNT coatings.
