Bloch oscillations in zigzag waveguide arrays
Abstract
We observe complex optical Bloch oscillations in femtosecond laser written zigzag waveguide arrays. The specific higher order interaction deforms the band structure. Its mapping onto the propagation direction is observed via waveguide fluorescence mircoscopy.
