Calibration of an infrared 3d scanner

The AiMESS Services GmbH has developed a new infrared fringe projection system, which allows 3D measurements on specular surfaces and many materials, which are transparent for the visible spectrum of light. This article presents a model and a calibrationmethod for this system and explains why existing models for fringe projection systems did not fit.

Die AiMESS Services GmbH hat ein neuartiges Infrarot-Streifenlichtprojektionssystem entwickelt, welches 3D-Messungen auf glänzenden Oberflächen und für Licht des sichtbaren Spektrums transparenten Materialien ermöglicht. Dieser Artikel stellt ein Modell dieses Systems und dessen Kalibrierung vor. Es wird erläutert, warum existierende Modelle für Streifenlichtprojektionssysteme nicht geeignet waren.
