Title
Ringfixateur zur externen Fixierung und Reposition von Knochenfragmeten
Other Title
Ring fixer for the external fixing and repositioning of bone fragments
Abstract
The invention relates to a ring fixer which is used in medical treatment for fractures, callus tractions and for correcting the oblique position of bones. The ring fixer is capable of achieving a precise allocation of the position of two ring planes wo which the wire guided through the bones are fixed, and of permitting re-adjustment work in a simple and precise way. This problem is solved by the use of at least six adjustment elements which are connected in joints to the two ring planes, to which the wires which hold the bones are secured, in such a way that the adjustment elements are arranged between the ring planes in a triangular or trapezoidal formation. It is also advantageous if the ring planes are formed by two rings maintained at a distance.
