Ein Schallwandlerarray umfasst eine Mehrzahl an Wandlern und eine separate Abstrahlstruktur. Jeder der Wandler umfasst eine Platte. Die Abstrahlstruktur koppelt zumindest zwei der Mehrzahl der Wandler mechanisch miteinander. Die Kopplung erfolgt über je einem Koppelelement je Platte, so dass aus einer Bewegung einer der Platten eine Bewegung der Abstrahlstruktur resultiert.

A sound transducer array comprises a plurality of transducers and a separate radiating structure. Each of the transducers comprises a plate. The radiating structure mechanically couples at least two of the plurality of transducers to one another. The coupling action is achieved by one coupling element per plate such that a movement of one of the plates results in a movement of the radiating structure.
