Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Hochdruckumformung von Werkstücken

Die vorliegende Erfindung umfasst eine Vorrichtung zur Hochdruckumformung von Werkstücken (8), insbesondere zur Herstellung von Wärmetauscherplatten und Bipolarplatten. Die Vorrichtung umfasst eine Form mit einem Formgebungsabschnitt (4, 11) und ein Fluidbecken (5), zwischen denen das Werkstück (8) zur Hochdruckumformung anordenbar ist. Die Vorrichtung ist konfiguriert, um in dem Fluidbecken (5) einen Hochdruck-Impuls zu erzeugen, sodass das Werkstück (8) durch den Hochdruck-Impuls durch den Formgebungsabschnitt (4, 11) gedrängt wird. Die vorliegende Erfindung offenbart auch ein entsprechendes Umformverfahren.
