Elektrodialytisches Verfahren zur Herstellung wäßriger Lösungen von Hydroxylamin oder von Hydroxylamin-Derivaten sowie Elektrodialysezelle zur Durchführung des Verfahrens

Other Title
Electrodialytic process for the production of aqueous solutions of hydroxylamine or hydroxylamine derivatives
Abstract
The invention relates to an electrodialysis process and a device for the production of aqueous solutions of hydroxylamine or hydroxylamine derivatives. From an aqueous solution of a hydroxyl ammonium salt of the general formula NH<-3 OH)->+ <-z Z->z- , where Z->z- is equal to SO<-4 ->2- , Cl->- , F->- , Br->- , NO->3- or CH<-3 COO->-, the NH<-3 OH->+ ions are removed electrodialytically via a cation exchange diaphragm. The NH<-3 OH->+ ions are converted into (NH<-3 OH)OH or NH<-2 OHxH<-2 O or NH<-2 OH by means of hydroxide ions generated electrodialytically using a bipolar diaphragm. The Z->z- ions are protonated by protons generated electrodialytically by using a bipolar diaphragm. Electrodialysis cells for performing the process according to the invention have one or several chambers K<-1 which are limited on the cathode side by a cation exchange diaphragm and in which the aqueous solution of the starting salt (NH<-3 OH)->+ <-z Z->z- is placed. The anode chamber is limited by a catio n exchange diaphragm and the cathode chamber by a bipolar diaphragm with a cation-selective layer arranged on the cathode side. Moreover, the device according to the invention has one or several chambers K<-2 which are limited on the anode side by a cation exchange diaphragm and on the cathode side by a bipolar diaphragm with a cation-selective layer arranged on the cathode side and in said chambers the transfer of the NH<-3 OH->+ ions takes place by means of ...
