The method involves detecting a test object with sensors for determining energy production of an energy harvester in harvester environment, by a CPU. The test object is moved in the harvester environment for a test period and physical data acquired by the sensors of the test object is transmitted to the CPU through online communication interface. The potential of the harvester is evaluated by the CPU based on the received physical data. An independent claim is included for test object for detecting energy production potential of energy harvester.
