Abstract

DE 102005037708 A1 UPAB: 20070423 NOVELTY - The parallel heat exchanger plates (2) arrangement comprises an adsorbent thermally contacted with the plates, and a collector channel (1) to remove or supply a heat transfer medium, which flows through the adsorbent into the plain plates. Fluid channels are arranged in the exchanger plates and the heat transfer fluid flows through the fluid channels. The heat exchanger plates are directly soldered or welded with the collector channel and are opened in suitable places. The spacers between the heat exchanger plates are arranged in these places. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The parallel heat exchanger plates (2) arrangement comprises an adsorbent thermally contacted with the plates, and a collector channel (1) to remove or supply a heat transfer medium, which flows through the adsorbent into the plain plates. Fluid channels are arranged in the exchanger plates and the heat transfer fluid flows through the fluid channels. The heat exchanger plates are directly soldered or welded with the collector channel and are opened in suitable places. The spacers between the heat exchanger plates are arranged in these places. A connection element to exert force, are intended on the heat exchanger plates in such a way that the heat exchanger plates and the spacers are pressed together in such a way that no heat transfer fluid escapes at the junction points of the spacers. The connection element exhibits a thread at a first end, and a chip element is arranged in a first edge of the plates. The connection element is arranged at the second edge of the plates. Two metal sheets deformable by pressing, are vacuum densely connected in the area of the edges and are rolled together for the manufacturing of the exchanger plates. A releasing agent is applied in surfaces at the metal sheets and a fluid channel is formed during subsequent swelling of the metal sheets, which results a fluid channel structure. A supporting plate is arranged in the opening area of the plate between the metal sheets and shows a surface structure, in which the fluid flows. A support structure with recess is present in the plates for the fluid. The support structure is arranged in such a way that the exerted force is compensated and a deformation of the heat exchanger plates is avoided. Sealing is incorporated at the connection element of the plates to avoid or minimize the escaping of the fluid. The reservoir channel is interrupted in the area of the heat exchanger plates in such a way that a serial flow of the heat exchanger plates takes place. The plate is bent and slit in the area between the fluid channels. The heat exchanger plate shows an open porous metal foam structure on its outside. The adsorbent contains or is produced from charcoal fiber mat. An adsorbent exhibits a channel to allow a transport of a stream to the adsorbent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a procedure for the production of heat exchanger plates connected with a collector channel. USE - Used for developing heat of adsorption for adsorption heat pumps and refrigerators as well as adsorption in the energy- and air conditioning technology. ADVANTAGE - The heat exchanger plates are simple and ensure efficient heat of adsorption. The adsorbent has good thermal contact on the surfaces of the heat exchanger plate.
