Title
Other Title
Method for producing adult proliferating cells for cell culture for developing similar tissue, organ or multi-cellular systems in vitro and for testing chemicals, involves extracting tissues from anterior kidney or pyloric appendices
Abstract

WO 2009000347 A1 UPAB: 20090307 NOVELTY - Adult proliferating cells production involves extracting tissues from anterior kidney or pyloric appendices of poikilotherm vertebrate. The tissues are cut and cultivated, and cells persisting in culture are proliferated. The poikilotherm vertebrate is fish. The cultivation is carried out at 1-35, preferably 5-27, particularly 17-24 degrees C. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a kit, which comprises cells and adjuvant or reagents for cultivating cells or diagnostic reagents. USE - Method for producing adult proliferating cells for cell culture for developing similar tissue, organ or multi-cellular systems in vitro, testing chemicals, particularly for screening medicine active substances, producing desired matter (proteins, fish oil or fatty acids) in vitro, reproductive cloning of poikilotherm vertebrate, particularly pisciculture, differentiation culture and for use as receiver cell or vehicle for receiving alien gene material or other contaminant (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Adult proliferating cells production method provides proliferating cells with stem cell properties, particularly infinite divisional ability and multipotency.
