Abstract
Bei einem Verfahren zum Schaetzen einer Signallaufzeit zwischen einer ersten Teilnehmerstation (UE1) und einer Funkstation (NodeB) eines Funkkommunikationssystem sendet die erste Teilnehmerstation (UE1) ein erstes Schaetzsignal (SIG1) an die Funkstation (NodeB), empfaengt als Antwort auf das erste Schaetzsignal (SIG1) eine zweites Schaetzsignal (SIG2) von der Funkstation (NodeB) und ermittelt anhand eines Sendezeitpunktes des ersten Schaetzsignals (SIG1) und eines Empfangszeitpunktes des zweiten Schaetzsignals (SIG2) eine erste Signallaufzeit (tS1). Erfindungsgemaess wird als das erste Schaetzsignal (SIG1) und als das zweite Schaetzsignal (SIG2) jeweils eine einzige Traegerfrequenz (f1) verwendet.
