Abstract
The method involves irradiating carbon nano-small tubes with monochromatic electromagnetic radiation from a radiation source such as laser source and X-ray radiation source, and of two different wavelengths with a predetermined linear polarization direction, so as to separate the metallic and semiconductor carbon nano-small tubes. Alignment of regions forming the metallic carbon nano-small tubes and/or regions of the semiconductor carbon nano-small tubes is diverted from longitudinal axes of the nano-small tubes.
