The invention relates to a circuit layout for an amplifier to control a high unipolar output a.c. voltage. The amplifier consists of two single amplifiers V1, V2 controlled in parallel via potential isolator stages, the outputs of the amplifiers forming the connection for the load. Power supply is provided by four identical series voltages sources U of which two supply one amplifier and whose connection point forms the reference potential of the inputs of each amplifier.
