Die Erfindung betrifft ein Formwerkzeug zum Formen eines Hohlprofiles, insbesondere eines Rohres, aus einem Längsprofil, wie einer ungeformten Platine oder Blech, mittels eines Druckmantels, wobei das Formwerkzeug eine Druckkammer aufweist, die von dem Druckmantel zumindest teilweise definiert wird, wobei durch Einstellen des Innendrucks in der Druckkammer, die Dehnung und Spannkraft des Druckmantels zum Formen des Hohlprofils durch Zufuhr und/oder Abfuhr eines Druckmediums in die Druckkammer unter Berücksichtigung der Verformung des Hohlprofils einstellbar ist, sowie Umformvorrichtungen zum Herstellen und Biegen von Rohren die ein derartiges Formwerkzeug anwenden sowie Verfahren zum Herstellen und Biegen von Hohlprofilen unter der Verwendung des Formwerkzeuges mit Druckmantel.
