Title
Ultraviolett-Spektralhygrometer zur Gasfeuchtigkeitsbestimmung
Other Title
Ultraviolet spectral hygrometer for measuring gas humidity
Abstract
The UV hygrometer is specially suited for the measurement of absolute humidity in gases which are stored or conveyed at overpressure, and medium to very high humidity contents in gases. The task of the invention is to create a UV hygrometer of high sensitivity for the exact, continuous and almost inertia-free measurement of absolute humidity in gases with a wide range of applications. The invention is characterized by the use of an atomic line radiator with a wavelength range from 140 to 190 nm, a load cell comprising radiation-transparent windows and a spectral-selective, photoelectric receiver. A beam splitter located between the atomic line radiator and the load cell splits the bundle of rays emitted by the atomic line radiator into a measuring ray bundle and a comparison ray bundle.
