Es werden ein Reaktor und Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Magnesiumammoniumphosphat beschrieben, die weitgehend ohne den Einsatz teurer und gefaehrlicher Chemikalien auskommen und die nur einen sehr geringen Energiebedarf haben.

WO 2007009749 A1 UPAB: 20070305 NOVELTY - Reactor for producing magnesium ammonium phosphate from an ammonium-containing liquid comprises a housing containing two groups of electrodes of different polarity, including a sacrificial magnesium electrode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing magnesium ammonium phosphate from a liquid using a reactor as above, comprising applying a voltage to the electrodes, filling the reactor with an ammonium-containing liquid and forming magnesium ammonium phosphate. ACTIVITY - Fertilizer. MECHANISM OF ACTION - None given. USE - Magnesium ammonium phosphate is useful as a fertilizer. ADVANTAGE - The reactor can handle ammonium-containing liquids derived from chicken manure or waste gases. Wastewater from the reactor is salt-free and can thus be recycled.
