The description refers to a gun with regenerative injection of liquid propellant. Whereas known devices are complex systems with mutually interacting components, the device according to the inventions has a particularly simple construction. The head of the differential pressure piston seals the combustion chamber against a gap opening which is connected to a tank located at the bottom end of the piston. The piston is pressed into the tank by pressure in the combustion chamber and, at the same time, a connection is produced between the gap opening and the combustion chamber. The liquid propellant is thus sprayed out of the tank through the gap opening into the combustion chamber.
