VERFAHREN ZUR NICHTSTATIONAEREN TRENNUNG VON SIGNALEN UNTERSCHIEDLICHER QUELLEN

Other Title
Non stationary separation of signal sources - using switching matrix with adaptive signal separation algorithm exhibiting rate of learning determined by second algorithm.
Abstract
DE 19652336 A UPAB: 19980715 The separation method, for non-stationary separation of signals from different sources, or for separating at least one signal from a background signal, uses a switching matrix (2). This is supplied with several mixed signal components at its inputs. The switching matrix uses an adaptive signal separation algorithm, which is adjusted using a variable learning rate, in turn determined by an appropriate algorithm. USE - For adaptive separation of mixed signals, with application for acoustic signals, medical signals or for commercial data. ADVANTAGE - Rapid adaption to signal mixture variations using simple hardware.
