(A1) Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Beschichtungs- und/oder Umhuellungsmaterial, das ein Staerkederivat enthaelt, das zumindest teilweise mit einer Ethylaminofunktionalitaet einer Hydroxygruppe des Kohlenstoffatoms C?2? der Monomere O-alkyliert ist. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Beschichtungs- und/oder Umhuellungsmaterials. Ebenso werden Verwendungszwecke des Beschichtungsmaterials angegeben.
