Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Abformen von Strukturen

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zum Abformen von Strukturen, bei denen ein Substrat auf einem Substrattraeger positioniert wird, der ein oder mehrere integrierte Kanaele zum Ansaugen des Substrates mittels Unterdruck aufweist. Zwischen dem Substrattraeger und dem Substrat wird beim vorliegenden Verfahren eine Zwischenplatte eingesetzt, die nach dem Praegevorgang vom Substrat getrennt wird, indem der Substrattraeger und ein Werkzeugtraeger, von dem das Praegewerkzeug bei diesem Schritt gehalten wird, auseinander bewegt werden. Die Zwischenplatte wird anschliessend vom Substrattraeger entfernt und das Substrat durch entgegen gesetzte Bewegung von Substrattraeger und/oder Werkzeugtraeger mit dem Substrattraeger in Kontakt gebracht und durch Ansaugen gehalten. Im naechsten Schritt wird das Substrat vom Praegewerkzeug getrennt, indem der Substrattraeger und der Werkzeugtraeger, von dem das Praegewerkzeug gehalten wird, auseinander bewegt werden. Das vorliegende Verfahren und die zugehoerige Vorrichtung ermoeglichen ein schnelles und automatisierbares Wechseln des Substrates sowie ein automatisiertes Trennen des Substrates vom Praegewerkzeug.

USE - Producing an embossed structure on a substrate, especially for producing microfluidic, optical or mechanical polymer components, e.g. optical waveguides or gratings. ADVANTAGE - The plate prevents the support's suction channel pattern from being embossed onto the bottom of the substrate (compare EP1068945).
